Construction Health & Safety and Quality Management

Health and safety is not just a box ticking exercise at A&E Construction – we make sure that it underpins all of the work that we do, at all times.

Ensuring adherence to health and safety requirements is important because both our clients and our staff rely on us to get it right, and we also understand that the success of our business is dependent on avoiding risks and resulting injuries.

We are committed to complying with current HSE legislation and we are monitored annually on HSE practices by the Construction Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) and Achilles – both of which are dedicated to improving health and safety standards across the UK.

Quality management

At A&E Construction we are committed to delivering excellent quality standards in all of the construction work that we carry out.

We have devised a robust bespoke internal quality checking system which we use on all projects. This means that we are able to demonstrate to clients that we are fully committed to extremely high standards on the work that we complete. We apply exactly the same standards to all of our work including large projects and small.

Managing quality relates to all aspects of any project – design, development, documentation and every action that contributes to a successful outcome. We ensure that every project follows a clear process and all elements are managed to work well together and to meet all of our clients’ expectations.

Our commitment:

  • Health and safety is integral to all of the work that we do
  • We are monitored and assessed by external bodies to ensure that our work is safe
  • We invest in training for our staff to ensure that they are up to date on all aspects of health and safety in their work
  • We ensure consistent high quality through our internal quality management system
  • We are committed to quality for every project that we complete – regardless of the size
